Manual QA Tester – Detail‑Oriented Software Tester

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Manual QA Tester to ensure our software applications function correctly and meet quality standards before release. The role involves creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and scenarios to verify software functionality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to determine testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, checklists and related documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document and track software bugs using bug‑tracking tools.
• Retest resolved defects and conduct regression testing after updates.
• Test web applications across multiple browsers, devices and environments.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and designers to resolve defects.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and testing progress.
• Participate in release testing, user acceptance testing and quality validation activities.
