Manufacturing Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will design, develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment and systems to improve production efficiency while ensuring cost‑effective, high‑quality output. The role supports design for manufacturability, resolves technical production challenges and drives continuous improvement using Lean principles.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings for new and existing part numbers.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes, equipment and systems to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Develop, test and justify tools, machinery and equipment for new or improved production methods.
• Identify and resolve production workflow issues such as bottlenecks, inefficiencies and machine reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Prepare facility layouts and equipment drawings using CAD software.
• Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing and production teams.
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes, methods and controls.
• Support quoting and order management processes with technical input.
• Develop and maintain technical procedures, reports and documentation.
• Participate in problem‑solving activities and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Lean Green Belt / Black Belt or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine design, welding and CNC machining.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Six Sigma principles.
