Mason – Hotel Construction & Maintenance

About the role

Southern Sun is seeking a skilled Mason to join its hotel maintenance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing a variety of construction and repair tasks to keep the property in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general building civil work, including tiling, bricklaying, plastering, concrete work and steel fixing.
• Perform wall repairs, apply silicon sealants and grouts, and undertake painting and polishing tasks.
• Support the Engineering Department by providing maintenance services and ensuring compliance with hotel building procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and preparation while working on site.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in masonry and related construction tasks.
• Good understanding of hotel building standards and procedures.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Strong teamwork skills and the capacity to work autonomously.
