Massage Therapist

About the role

Swissotel Al Ghurair and Swissotel Living Al Ghurair, a 620-room-and-suite upper-upscale hotel in Deira, Dubai, is looking for a Massage Therapist. You will recommend and apply body conditioning treatments and massages to guests and leisure club members.

Key responsibilities

• Massage the body using techniques such as kneading, rubbing and stroking to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles or relieve other conditions
• Administer steam, dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared or water treatments on request
• Give directions to clients on reducing or remedial exercises and record treatments provided
• Keep treatment rooms tidy and ensure towels, candles, oils and other items are available
• Handle reservations for massage and other treatment packages professionally
• Know the club facilities and membership prices, and observe high standards of personal hygiene
• Follow the hotel's environmental, health and safety policies and work safely and sustainably

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred
• Certification in the discipline is preferred
• Ability to focus on guest needs, stay calm and courteous, and build positive relations with guests and colleagues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Eligibility to live and work in Dubai; visa costs and flights are covered for selected candidates
