Material Inspector (Roads & Infrastructure)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Material Inspector to join its Roads & Infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. You will play a key part in ensuring that all civil and structural materials meet project specifications and quality standards, supporting the successful delivery of road and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare inspection, test, and site reports in line with project quality procedures.
• Conduct material tests such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregate gradation, concrete slump, air entrainment, compressive strength, and concrete coring.
• Inspect civil and structural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards.
• Receive and verify Material Inspection Requests (MIR), confirm quantities and technical compliance, and sign off MIRs.
• Maintain complete records of inspections, test results, and execution activities.
• Ensure quality control procedures are applied during construction supervision and communicate progress to the project team.
• Coordinate documentation for project handover, including as‑built records and quality dossiers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on roads and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of civil material testing and inspection processes.
