Math Teacher - Charter Schools, Abu Dhabi & Al Ain (2026-2027)

About the role

Charter schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain are looking for math teachers for the 2026-2027 academic year, open to Cycle 1, Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 placements. The teacher's purpose is to teach and educate students according to their individual needs, abilities and potential, encouraging each to reach their academic potential through enthusiastic and personalised teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enrich expertise in the subject taught.
• Develop lesson plans that meet learning standards and grade-specific standards.
• Coordinate with other teachers to reinforce interdisciplinary learning.
• Provide direct and indirect instruction and plan for long and short term.
• Prepare students for assessments and evaluate their progress.
• Prepare at least quarterly individual student achievement reports for parents.
• Create an inviting, innovative learning environment and manage the classroom effectively.
• Accept feedback and coaching from administrative staff.
• Serve as an academic and behavioural advisor to students, including advising groups.
• Support the implementation of the ADEK National Identity initiative and perform other duties assigned by the principal.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (QFE Level 7) in Math or a related field, properly attested and UAE-equivalency certified.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as a teaching diploma, PGCE, QTS or equivalent licensure.
• Valid IELTS band 6 for non-native speakers.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience as a math teacher; teaching experience is mandatory.
