Assistant Professor of Political Science, Tenure Track

About the role

The Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi is searching for a new Assistant Professor of Political Science on a tenure-track, open-field junior faculty position. The university welcomes applicants whose regional focus is in MENA or South Asia, and those working on the environment or AI. Successful candidates are expected to start and relocate to Abu Dhabi in the 2027-2028 academic year, subject to budget approval.

Required profile

• A Ph.D. in Political Science or another related field by August 1, 2027.
• Demonstrated, or potential to develop, a strong record of scholarship, teaching and mentoring.
