Maths Teacher

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is looking for an inspiring Maths Teacher to join its secondary team. The role starts in August 2026 and involves teaching students from Early Years through IGCSE and A‑Level using the English National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for a range of ages and abilities.
• Create engaging, inquiry‑based learning experiences that align with the UK curriculum and IGCSE/A‑Level specifications.
• Maintain and develop classroom resources and use data to monitor student progress.
• Build positive relationships with parents and communicate student achievement regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s continuous improvement culture.

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching mathematics and committed to continuous improvement.
• Positive mindset with a strong work ethic for students, parents and colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a diverse school community.

Required skills

• Solid experience delivering the UK National Curriculum in mathematics.
• Familiarity with IGCSE and A‑Level maths programmes.
• Effective classroom management and assessment design.
