Student Recruiter

About the role

The Student Recruiter serves as the primary liaison between prospective students and the League, promoting the institution’s programs across middle schools, high schools, colleges, and community organizations in the NYC and Tri‑State area. The role combines outreach, relationship building, advising, and data‑driven recruitment to grow enrollment at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain partnerships with NYC and Tri‑State school systems, community groups, and embassies.
• Travel to schools and colleges to present the League’s programs, conduct demonstrations, and host open houses.
• Coordinate visits for prospective students and parents, including scheduling, logistics, and follow‑up.
• Build long‑term relationships with art teachers, guidance counselors, and community leaders to create a steady pipeline of applicants.
• Guide prospective students and families through the admissions and enrollment process.
• Organize on‑campus open houses, virtual webinars, gallery tours, and workshops.
• Use the CRM system to track prospect engagement, analyze recruitment data, and meet enrollment targets.
• Collaborate with the Provost, Academic Affairs, Certificate programs, and Youth/Community program directors to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience speaking to groups of students and educators.
• Ability to travel frequently within the NYC and Tri‑State area.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with educational institutions and community partners.
• Experience advising students or families on educational options.
• Data‑oriented mindset with experience tracking metrics and reporting results.
