Mechanical Draughtsman – HVAC & MEP Design

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman to produce detailed HVAC and MEP drawings for high‑rise building projects in Dubai. The role involves translating design concepts into accurate shop drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC shop drawings, ducting layouts, chilled water piping, equipment details and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings.
• Develop detailed coordination drawings and builder’s work packages.
• Liaise with engineers, consultants, facilities‑management teams and site personnel.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site requirements and design changes.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably in facility management and high‑rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building services and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, coordination abilities and communication skills.
