Media & Communications Expert – AI Training (Remote)

About the role
Ethos is partnering with a leading AI lab to train a new language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. The role is fully remote, part‑time, and offers flexible hours.
Key responsibilities
- Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated press releases, media statements, executive talking points, briefing memos, crisis communication plans, editorial style guides, content calendars, media tracking spreadsheets, and newsletter drafts.
- Ensure all outputs meet professional standards, adhere to AP style or equivalent, and are polished for both internal and external audiences.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations, producing press releases, briefing memos, or editorial content under deadline pressure.
- Proven ability to shape messaging for executives or media outlets with strong news judgment.
Required skills
- Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
- Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
