Mendix Support Engineer

About the role

The Mendix Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, and operational continuity of Mendix applications across environments. The role takes ownership of platform and product issues, working independently with users and teams to investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot reported problems.

Key responsibilities

• Support Mendix application users by receiving, investigating, and resolving issues and service requests.
• Take ownership of incident resolution to ensure quick recovery and minimal disruption.
• Investigate logs, runtime data, and server configurations to identify performance issues, integration errors, or system failures.
• Analyze Mendix application functionality to identify improvements, optimizations, and potential risks.
• Manage code migration, deployments, and version control across environments.
• Perform unit and integration testing to validate bug fixes, enhancements, and releases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
• Monitor application and environment performance through relevant tools and proactively address anomalies.
• Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and issue resolution procedures.

Required profile

• 4+ years proven IT experience performing hands‑on software development roles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.
• Mendix Advanced Developer Certification.
