MEP Estimator – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented MEP Estimator to join our estimation team in Dubai. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on interior fit‑out projects, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse drawings, specifications, BOQs and other documents to produce MEP cost estimates.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and project management to gather necessary data.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting and ELV systems.
• Request, review and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, rate analyses and tender documents.
• Participate in tender evaluations, value engineering and post‑tender clarifications.
• Maintain a database of unit rates, suppliers and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably on high‑end interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and local codes (e.g., IS codes, NBC).
• Good command of MS Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office tools.
