MEP Quantity Surveyor – Dubai High‑Rise Project

About the role

CSCEC Middle East is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its Contracts & Commercial team on a newly awarded high‑rise tower project in Dubai. The role involves providing contractual assistance, managing variations, and supporting extension‑of‑time and delay claims.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with site management to issue timely notifications for variations, extensions of time and other contractual amendments.
• Prepare and value variation claims, including quantity take‑offs, pricing and supporting documentation.
• Identify project delays and disruptions, and prepare related claims for acceleration, extension of time and associated costs.
• Maintain soft‑copy filing of contract documents and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Gather project cost data, update the cost‑to‑complete (CTC) and regularly report cash‑flow status to management.
• Prepare monthly progressive claims, follow‑up on payments and review subcontractor progress claims.
• Negotiate and finalise the project’s final account.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying, including EOT and delay claim handling.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions.
