MERN Stack Developer

About the role

DocFlow is seeking a MERN Stack Developer to join its development team in Dubai. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components, ensuring seamless integration of APIs and databases while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Build responsive, accessible, and user‑friendly interfaces with React.js.
• Create backend services and RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, query, and optimise MongoDB collections, indexes, and aggregations.
• Integrate front‑end applications with backend APIs and third‑party services.
• Implement new features based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the front‑end, back‑end, API, and database layers.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Implement API validation, error handling, authentication, and authorisation.
• Collaborate with QA, business teams, and other developers using Git for source‑code management.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional MERN stack development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern web development concepts.
• Proven ability to understand existing architecture and implement changes without breaking functionality.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver capable of debugging and troubleshooting independently.
