MFL Teacher (Spanish & French) – Immediate Maternity Cover

About the role

Rugby School Dubai is seeking an outstanding Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher to cover a maternity leave immediately. The role involves delivering French and Spanish across Year 6 to Year 13 within a brand‑new British curriculum school that opened in August 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive learning climate and set clear teaching objectives for each lesson.
• Differentiate instruction for SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students, using assessment data to inform planning.
• Integrate ICT effectively to enhance learning and maintain a fast‑paced, engaging classroom.
• Mark student work regularly, set progress targets, and produce informative parent reports.
• Collaborate with speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students for whom English is an additional language.
• Passion for educating the whole child and a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
