MLOps Engineer (Freelance, Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MLOps Engineer to join our team on a six‑month freelance contract, with the possibility of extension. This hybrid position combines onsite work in Abu Dhabi with remote collaboration across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable MLOps frameworks and automated ML workflows.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for model development, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, data engineers and DevOps teams to operationalise AI solutions.
• Deploy, monitor and manage machine‑learning models in production environments.
• Develop model versioning, governance and automated retraining pipelines.
• Ensure reliability, security, scalability and performance of the ML infrastructure.
• Implement logging, monitoring and alerting for model and platform health.
• Optimise cloud resources for AI/ML workloads and troubleshoot related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
