Mobile Native App Delivery Lead

About the role

The Mobile Native App Delivery Lead will own the end‑to‑end delivery of native iOS and Android banking applications for the bank’s digital channels. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that mobile solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals, regulatory standards and an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and manage delivery milestones, timelines and release cycles for native mobile banking apps.
• Coordinate dependencies across business, architecture, security and operations teams to guarantee on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Provide technical oversight of mobile architectures (Swift, Kotlin, Objective‑C, Java) and enforce mobile security standards (OWASP, encryption, authentication).
• Guide performance optimisation, scalability and reliability efforts.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, app‑store releases and versioning strategies.
• Act as primary liaison for product owners, business stakeholders and senior management, translating requirements into executable plans.
• Lead, mentor and manage cross‑functional on‑shore/off‑shore teams and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data‑privacy and security policies, supporting audits and security reviews.

Required profile

• 15‑20+ years of experience in native mobile development and delivery.
• Proven track record delivering mobile applications in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of digital banking, payments and customer journeys.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and release management.
