Multiple Engineering Roles – Aircraft & UAV Development (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Akkodis is partnering with a leading aircraft manufacturing and UAV development company to expand its engineering teams in Abu Dhabi. The talent pool includes a range of full‑time positions across systems, avionics, design, integration, flight test and propulsion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements, architecture and lifecycle for aircraft and UAV platforms.
• Design, simulate and implement advanced Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) algorithms.
• Lead assembly, integration and testing (AIT) of complex airborne electronic systems.
• Design and optimise real‑time RF telemetry links and communication subsystems.
• Lead mechanical design of structures, payloads and mechanisms; perform high‑fidelity CFD and thermal analysis.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drafting and configuration control.
• Conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing and integration of UAV subsystems.
• Plan, execute and analyse flight test campaigns and data validation.
• Provide expertise in solid propulsion systems and launch assistance technologies.

Required profile

• Proven track record in aerospace, defence or advanced UAV development.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary hardware and software teams.
