Multi‑Skilled Technician – Kitchen Equipment

About the role

The Multi‑Skilled Technician provides prompt repair and preventive maintenance services for kitchen and hotel equipment, ensuring guest satisfaction and safe operation of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of kitchen, mechanical room, and other hotel equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually and conduct routine testing.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, wood‑trim repairs, and landscaping sprinkler maintenance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotel engineering.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Plumbing repairs and pipe maintenance.
• Carpentry and finish work, including painting and drywall repair.
• Kitchen equipment maintenance and preventive servicing.
• Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for equipment scheduling and temperature adjustments.
