About the role
We are seeking an experienced Music Teacher to join Jumeirah College, a GEMS Premium Secondary School in Dubai. The appointment starts in September 2025 and involves delivering the National Curriculum for England to a diverse international student body.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Music curriculum to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A‑Level examinations in Music.
- Contribute to the school’s enriched curriculum, extracurricular activities and charitable initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assess performance.
Required profile
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree with a PGCE/PGDE.
- Minimum three years of experience teaching Music within the National Curriculum for England.
- Experience teaching at KS4 and KS5 levels.
- Enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England (Music).
