National Tech Officer – Tomoh Apprenticeship

About the role

The National Tech Officer apprenticeship is part of Microsoft’s Tomoh program, a six‑month paid initiative aimed at Emiratization. You will work in Dubai supporting market development and digital transformation across the public sector and regulated industries, gaining exposure to technology, policy, and regulatory stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in driving long‑term market development and digital transformation initiatives.
• Build bridges between technology, policy, regulatory, and customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to projects that promote innovation, economic growth, cybersecurity, AI adoption, and cloud transformation.
• Collaborate with business, technical, legal, and government‑affairs teams on strategic engagements.
• Participate in real‑world projects and on‑the‑job training across the region.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati) interested in technology and public‑sector transformation.
• Recent graduate or early‑career professional eager to develop technical and business skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (or equivalent cloud platform) fundamentals.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles.
• Awareness of cybersecurity basics.
