NDT Multi Technician (PCN) – Ultrasonic Testing Certified

About the role

The NDT Multi Technician will support the Operations department of Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI) by performing a range of non‑destructive testing activities on offshore and onshore oilfield equipment. The role also ensures compliance with health, safety and quality standards within the HSEQ framework.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) on assigned components.
• Perform UT weld scanning, interpret results, evaluate against reference codes/standards and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records and ensure proper housekeeping of the work area.
• Support corrosion surveys in oil & gas fields and follow approved test methods and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an NDT Level 2 technician or equivalent.
• Higher Secondary School qualification plus PCN Level II UT certification (3.1/3.2 mandatory, 3.8/3.9 preferred).
• Experience in oil & gas field corrosion surveys.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
