Network & Client Support Engineer

About the role

Katimex Cielker is looking for a skilled Network & Client Support Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role is client‑facing and focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining the company’s enterprise network products and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for network products, addressing client queries and incidents.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls and other networking equipment.
• Monitor product performance, proactively resolve connectivity and stability issues.
• Implement and maintain network security policies specific to each product.
• Assist with upgrades, patching and routine maintenance of network solutions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and vendors for escalations.
• Document deployments, incidents and support activities.
• Deliver support within defined SLAs and response timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network support.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
• Experience with firewalls and multi‑vendor environments.
