Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Network Engineer with strong desktop support capabilities to design, implement and maintain our network infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The role combines advanced networking responsibilities with hands‑on end‑user support to ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and develop technical network solutions, including LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN and wireless networks.
• Design and implement network security strategies, configure next‑generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos) and manage IDS/IPS, WIPS and NAC solutions.
• Deploy and maintain virtual networks on‑premises and in private cloud environments.
• Ensure network compliance with ISO standards and internal security policies.
• Configure and monitor Cisco Identity Service Engine for Wi‑Fi, LAN and remote VPN access.
• Provide desktop support to end‑users, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting of PCs and laptops.
• Monitor network performance, perform regular maintenance and lead critical infrastructure upgrades.

Required profile

• Motivated professional with a solid background in both networking and desktop support.
• Deep understanding of network design, implementation and security concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
