OCC Controller – Airport Operations

About the role

The OCC Controller will lead the Operations Control Centre for ground handling at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. Reporting to the Ground Handling Manager, you will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant airport operations while supporting airline partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aircraft movements, load control, and technical charge note recording for financial reconciliation.
• Lead OCC Coordinators and ramp staff, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to management.
• Plan and allocate stands, check‑in counters, boarding gates, and baggage belts; update FIDS for all passenger zones.
• Coordinate emergency response, activate stakeholders, and ensure adherence to Airport Emergency Orders.
• Maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental standards; participate in accident investigations and risk assessments.
• Collect cash for ad‑hoc flights, manage VIP/CIP movements, and supervise equipment operators and cleaners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in airport ground handling or operations control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of regulatory and airline procedures.

Required skills

• Experience with AMS (Airport Management System) software.
• Familiarity with FIDS (Flight Information Display System) updates.
• Load control and aircraft stand allocation expertise.
