Occupational Therapist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Occupational Therapist will deliver comprehensive assessment and treatment to patients of all ages across speech, language, cognitive‑communicative, voice and swallowing disorders, as well as provide specialist occupational therapy interventions in a chronic rehabilitation home‑care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based, client‑centered approaches.
• Manage a caseload of complex adult and paediatric patients, implementing and reviewing interventions autonomously.
• Collaborate with line managers to set service priorities, contribute to clinical governance and service development.
• Supervise and appraise less‑experienced therapists, providing regular performance feedback.
• Ensure practice complies with Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) regulations and NMCRH‑KC requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HAAD.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with high‑level problem‑solving and clinical reasoning.
• Experience managing complex caseloads in rehabilitation or home‑care environments.
• Leadership experience supervising junior therapists.
