Research Specialist

About the role

The Research Specialist will play a pivotal role in advancing the research agenda of SEHA’s Research Center. Working closely with investigators and clinical teams, the specialist will manage projects from concept through completion while ensuring rigorous scientific standards. This position contributes to evidence‑based practice across Abu Dhabi’s healthcare network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support research projects from concept development through completion, assisting investigators with study design and protocol development.
• Monitor research timelines, milestones, and deliverables, maintaining research databases, records, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, MOHAP, ethics committees, and regulatory requirements, supporting ethics submissions, approvals, amendments, and renewals.
• Maintain adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research integrity standards, participating in audits and monitoring activities.
• Collect, validate, and analyze research data, preparing statistical summaries, reports, and outcome measures.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reports on research performance and present findings to stakeholders and leadership.
• Assist in manuscript preparation, abstract submission, and scientific publications, supporting presentation of findings at conferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, academic partners, and operational departments to facilitate multidisciplinary research initiatives and promote evidence‑based practice.
