About the role

The Occupational Therapist will provide high‑quality clinical care to patients in a specialist hospital setting, ensuring safe and effective rehabilitation across a range of complex cases.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including complex presentations and seating evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence in activities of daily living.
• Select and fit appropriate assistive devices and provide training to patients, relatives, and carers.
• Review patient progress at each session, adjusting interventions to meet therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend case conferences, and ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate findings through reports and letters.
• Uphold clinical governance, risk management, and MOH regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development and share specialist knowledge with colleagues.

Required profile

• Professional accountability and legal responsibility for clinical practice.
• Registration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and compliance with local regulations.
• Commitment to ongoing CPD and evidence‑based practice.
• Ability to communicate effectively across cultural, religious, and language barriers.
