Offshore & Marine Services Manager – Energy (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Offshore & Marine Services Manager will lead and expand marine and offshore technical consultancy services across the Middle East, reporting to the Operations Director. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role combines technical leadership, operational management, team development, financial responsibility and strategic business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead marine and offshore consultancy projects such as vessel newbuilds, FPSO/FLNG conversions, jack‑up rig upgrades and life‑extension programmes.
• Manage technical due‑diligence, engineering plan reviews, pre‑purchase condition surveys and asset‑integrity assessments.
• Oversee inspections and surveys of MODUs, jack‑up rigs, drillships, FPSOs, FLNG units, support vessels, AHTS vessels, tankers and barges.
• Direct regional field operations, allocating surveyors and technical specialists to offshore assignments.
• Control project delivery, operational budgets, resource allocation and profitability.
• Assume full profit‑and‑loss responsibility for the business unit and implement performance improvement measures.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience (≈17 years) in marine, offshore and energy services.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of surveyors, naval architects and engineers.
• Strong commercial acumen to act as technical and business advisor to shipowners, shipyards, NOCs, financial institutions and insurers.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the region and offshore sites.
