MEP Engineer – Construction Supervision (Dubai)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to lead construction supervision for large‑scale infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating site activities, reviewing designs, and ensuring successful testing and commissioning of electromechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring and testing & commissioning.
• Advise the Project Management Team and client on technical matters related to procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of electromechanical equipment.
• Attend factory and site tests, and support hand‑over of assets to authorities.
• Develop scopes, schedules and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress.
• Interface with procurement and subcontractors to facilitate the bid process.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for client and project management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in construction, including at least 5 years in construction supervision on large‑scale infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience supervising pumping stations, firefighting systems, treatment plants, substations and utilities.
• Familiarity with Dubai authority requirements (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software packages.
• Strong construction supervision capabilities.
