Offshore Mechanical Construction Manager

About the role

Euro Mechanical is looking for an experienced Offshore Mechanical Construction Manager to lead mechanical construction activities on EPC oil & gas projects. The role involves overseeing offshore installations, piping fabrication, equipment erection, lifting operations, and pre‑commissioning support while ensuring strict compliance with project specifications and ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage offshore mechanical construction of piping, valves, static and rotating equipment, skids, and structural works according to IFC drawings, ASME, API and ISO codes.
• Plan and execute construction work in line with project schedules, logistics, marine operations, SIMOPS and brownfield interfaces.
• Lead lifting operations, review lift plans, coordinate with marine teams, DP vessels and subcontractors, and enforce ADNOC safe lifting procedures.
• Coordinate with ADNOC, PMC, subcontractors and marine teams to ensure smooth execution and resolve site constraints.
• Supervise pre‑commissioning and mechanical completion activities such as flushing, hydro‑testing, nitrogen leak testing, reinstatement, punch‑list clearance and system handover.
• Maintain full HSE compliance, PTW procedures, confined‑space entry and work‑at‑height protocols while mentoring offshore supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 12‑18 years of offshore mechanical construction experience in EPC oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience with ADNOC offshore standards or equivalent operator procedures.
• Hands‑on expertise in equipment erection, offshore lifting, mechanical packages, skids, rotating/static equipment and complex piping systems.
• Strong knowledge of pre‑commissioning, commissioning support, discipline handovers and system readiness.
• Demonstrated leadership, coordination and problem‑solving abilities in offshore environments.
