Oil&Gas Maintenance Technician (Office/Field)

About the role

ISS International is seeking up to ten Oil & Gas Maintenance Technicians to support a Tags Registration Project across UAE oil and gas facilities. The role combines office‑based data handling with field surveys to verify and register equipment information.

Key responsibilities

• Identify equipment classes and initiate relevant data collection.
• Gather drawings, P&IDs, SLDs, F&G loops and extract tag information into Excel.
• Extract specifications from data sheets, VDBs, MRBs and other technical documents.
• Conduct on‑site surveys to verify equipment against drawings and capture manufacturer/model details from tag plates.
• Report any deviations between as‑built conditions and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical High School Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping or related field.
• At least 6 to 12 months experience in maintenance of oil & gas plants.
• Ability to work independently on data collection and site verification tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tabulation.

What we offer

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract with possible extension.
• Rotation schedule: up to 90 consecutive days on‑site, then return to Abu Dhabi office.
• 48‑hour weekly schedule for office work and 60‑hour weekly schedule for field work.
