Operational Excellence Manager

About the role

The Operational Excellence Manager will lead the identification of inefficiencies across Al Fahim Group’s diverse business units and drive cost‑optimization initiatives. The role focuses on analysing processes, benchmarking performance and applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to achieve annual cost reductions of 5‑10%.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed operational diagnostics across sales, service, parts, real‑estate, hospitality, oil & gas and other units.
• Benchmark operational metrics against industry best practices and highlight performance gaps.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using tools like fishbone diagrams to uncover redundant or manual processes.
• Develop and prioritize cost‑optimization initiatives, including automation, shared services and energy‑efficient solutions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma or similar frameworks to design pilot projects and scale successful improvements.
• Collaborate with the Strategic PMO and BU leaders to define project scope, timelines, KPIs and secure buy‑in.
• Lead change‑management activities, including training and communication plans.
• Produce monthly efficiency reports for senior leadership, detailing savings, ROI and progress.

Required profile

• At least 120 months (10 years) of experience in operational excellence, process improvement or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver measurable cost‑reduction results.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience analysing balanced scorecards and performance data.
