Operational Planning & Readiness Specialist (ORAT)

About the role

The ORAT Operational Planning & Readiness Specialist will drive operational readiness for dnata at Al Maktoum International Airport (AMIA). You will map, improve, and implement operational processes, coordinate ORAT working groups, and support trials, training, and go‑live activities to ensure a smooth airport launch.

Key responsibilities

• Map current versus future processes, define job roles, KPIs, SLAs and control points.
• Create and maintain process maps, SOPs, work instructions and CONOPS aligned with dnata standards.
• Lead cross‑functional ORAT working groups, maintaining RAID logs and decision records.
• Establish reporting cadence, oversee risk registers and drive issue resolution.
• Produce accurate dashboards to track progress, manage risks and keep stakeholders informed.
• Capture and communicate operational readiness timelines against the ORAT master schedule.
• Support design and execution of ORAT trials, tracking and closing issues before infrastructure opening.
• Coordinate training and communication plans to ensure adoption within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Strong experience in operational planning and readiness within airport or aviation environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and risk mitigation.
• Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
