About the role
Internally this role will be called Operations Coordinator. Based in Dubai and reporting to the Financial Director, the Operations Coordinator will oversee the day‑to‑day coordination of worldwide order processing, inventory, local manufacturing, warehousing and logistics for Wattwatchers. You will be the key operational contact for suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring stock orders move efficiently from purchase through production, shipment and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate global customer orders from validation and purchase order creation through fulfilment, dispatch and delivery.
- Create supplier purchase orders in Sage and manage approvals, resubmissions and escalations.
- Manage day‑to‑day supplier and manufacturing partner relationships, including production planning, stock availability, quality concerns and delivery performance.
- Plan stock replenishment using demand, lead times, minimum order quantities, available inventory and business priorities.
- Coordinate warehousing, inventory movements, picking, packing and domestic and international shipments.
- Oversee manufacture of Memory Module units and meter panels in Dubai, monitoring specifications, schedules and delivery expectations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and report on open orders, stock, production, delivery performance and risks.
- Identify and implement improvements across order processing, inventory control, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.
Required profile
- Experience in supply chain, order fulfilment, procurement, inventory, manufacturing coordination, warehousing or logistics, ideally in an international environment.
- Demonstrated success managing suppliers and third‑party manufacturing partners and following through on delivery commitments.
- Practical knowledge of purchase orders, minimum order quantities, lead times, stock planning, inventory control and order‑to‑delivery processes.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills across teams, suppliers and logistics providers in multiple regions and time zones.
