About the role
Join the newly formed Amazon Now operations team in the MENA region and help launch innovative fast‑delivery services. You will lead store and last‑mile operations, ensuring high performance, safety and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end operations for one large site or multiple smaller sites, overseeing store and delivery partner activities.
- Drive performance against customer‑facing metrics while maintaining cost targets, safety standards and team morale.
- Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits, implement continuous‑improvement initiatives, and act as stand‑in for the Area Manager when needed.
Required profile
- Experience in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop associates, work under pressure and solve ambiguous problems.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL (advantageous).
