About the role

ADNOC is seeking an Operator to run and monitor process plant and facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of equipment while adhering to the company’s HSE standards and standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process plant and facilities according to SOPs and HSE standards.
• Carry out operational work safely, performing routine equipment checks and reporting defects.
• Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates during shutdown and start‑up operations.
• Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance to ensure proper functioning and synchronization.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock/consumption registers and prepare chemical batches while following HSE procedures.
• Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies.
• Obtain work permits, monitor contractor activities and enforce safety regulations.
• Act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies as required.
• Communicate instructions from the Supervisor and prepare KPI checklists.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months of experience in plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and ability to work according to company safety standards.
• Capability to follow SOPs, handle chemicals safely and coordinate maintenance activities.
