Optometrist – Full‑Time Position in Dubai

About the role

The Optometrist will join a busy retail optical store in Dubai, delivering professional eye examinations, vision assessments and contact‑lens solutions. The role combines clinical care with customer‑focused sales to ensure a high‑quality experience for every client.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Diagnose common vision problems and prescribe corrective glasses or contact lenses.
• Perform contact‑lens fittings and provide post‑fit guidance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold clinical standards.
• Offer personalized product recommendations and support optical sales.
• Follow up with clients within three days of examinations to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor contact‑lens inventory, check expiry dates bi‑annually and place orders as needed.
• Ensure regular maintenance of optometry equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification in Optometry.
• Minimum two years of professional experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Valid Optometrist licence or eligibility letter from MOH, DHA or DOH.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Russian is an advantage.
