Order Taker – In‑Room Dining

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Order Taker for In‑Room Dining at NH Collection Dubai The Palm. In this full‑time position you will receive guest orders by phone, enter them accurately into the POS system and ensure timely delivery in line with hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer In‑Room Dining telephone calls promptly, professionally and courteously.
• Take food and beverage orders, verify details and record them in the POS system.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of menus, ingredients, promotions and operating hours.
• Identify dietary requirements, allergies and special requests and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Promote menu items and apply upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Confirm orders with guests, including quantities, delivery time and charges.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Monitor pending orders, follow up to avoid delays and handle guest inquiries or feedback.
• Process guest bills accurately according to hotel procedures.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of health and safety and food safety hygiene.
