Outstanding STEAM Teacher – Secondary (Year 10‑13)

About the role

Dubai British School Emirates Hills is seeking an Outstanding STEAM Teacher for the secondary phase (Years 10‑13). The successful candidate will join a thriving British international school delivering the National Curriculum for England and will start in August 2026, with a possible January 2027 start for the right applicant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging STEAM lessons across GCSE, BTEC and A‑Level programmes.
• Integrate science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to foster interdisciplinary learning.
• Contribute to the school’s extensive extra‑curricular programme and mentor student clubs.
• Maintain rigorous safeguarding standards and complete required background checks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to continuously improve curriculum quality.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with recognized secondary teaching qualifications.
• Proven experience teaching the National Curriculum for England, preferably in an international setting.
• Demonstrated outstanding teaching practice and ability to inspire students.
• Commitment to the school’s ethos of “Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve” and to safeguarding children.
