Painter Polisher – Engineering

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is seeking a skilled Painter Polisher to join its Engineering & Facilities team in Dubai. The role involves applying high‑quality finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces across the property, ensuring a premium appearance for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, primers and sealers using brushes, rollers or spray guns.
• Prepare surfaces by stripping, sanding, wire‑brushing, burning, water cleaning or abrasive blasting.
• Protect surrounding areas with appropriate coverings and post safety signage.
• Clean, store and maintain all painting tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to adjust colours, stains or varnishes as required.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards and completing required training.
• Perform physical tasks such as ladder work, lifting up to 50 lb, and extended standing or walking.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification.
• Minimum of one year of relevant painting or finishing experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licence or certification mandated.
