Payments Tester – Banking & SWIFT Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payments Tester to validate banking payment systems, including SWIFT messaging, domestic and cross‑border platforms, and payment hubs in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Validate payment processing systems, transaction flows, message formats and integrations.
• Perform functional, integration, SIT, UAT and regression testing of payment hubs and gateways.
• Analyse business requirements and create detailed test cases.
• Manage defects and produce test reports.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of payments testing experience.
• Strong exposure to UAE banking payment systems.
• Hands‑on experience with SWIFT, UAEFTS, IPP, ICCS, WPS and Direct Debit systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Banking domain experience is mandatory.

Required skills

• Testing of banking and financial services payment systems.
• Understanding of domestic and cross‑border payment processing.
• SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX).
• Knowledge of payment hubs, gateways and payment engines.
• Functional, integration, SIT, UAT and regression testing.
• Business requirement analysis, test case design, defect management and test reporting.
