People & Development Executive

About the role

The People & Development Executive will support Accor’s human resources and employee development initiatives in Abu Dhabi. This role coordinates recruitment, onboarding, learning, engagement, performance management and HR administration while ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities, new‑hire orientations and 30‑60‑90 day onboarding plans, maintaining accurate records.
• Identify training needs, organise internal and external programmes, track participation and evaluate effectiveness.
• Support employee engagement surveys, act as a point of contact for HR policy queries and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
• Manage the annual performance appraisal cycle, assist with goal setting and monitor development actions.
• Maintain confidential employee records, prepare HR reports, contracts and monitor attendance and leave.
• Contribute to HR projects, prepare metrics for management and assist with internal communications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development or People Operations.
• Proven ability to design, coordinate and evaluate training and development programmes.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
