People Development Manager

About the role

As the People Development Manager at Delano Dubai, you will shape how employees learn, grow, and experience the brand from within. Working closely with People & Culture and hotel leaders, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that support onboarding, leadership development, and service culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own the hotel’s learning and development plan, aligning people priorities with business needs.
• Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences across service, behavioural, and leadership topics.
• Develop and maintain onboarding journeys that immerse new joiners in Delano’s culture and brand.
• Partner with leaders to identify talent, support succession planning, and drive internal mobility.
• Maintain mandatory learning records and ensure compliance with training requirements.
• Collaborate with operational teams to strengthen service skills and enhance guest experience.

Required profile

• Experience in people development, learning & development, or talent development, preferably in luxury or lifestyle hospitality.
• Proven ability to design and deliver onboarding and development programmes.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and fast‑paced hospitality environments.
• Creative, curious mindset with the confidence to try new approaches.
• Collaborative, people‑first attitude and passion for helping others grow.
