About the role

GEMS Metropole School – Motor City is seeking an outstanding Performing Arts Teacher to join the team from August 2026. The role involves delivering inspiring lessons that nurture creativity, confidence and a love of performance in a vibrant, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Performing Arts curriculum across drama, music and movement.
• Foster an inclusive classroom where students of all abilities can thrive.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to raise achievement.
• Lead school productions, performances and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Drama or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for the performing arts.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and student success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular productions and community events.
