Perfume Development Internship – Dubai

About the role

This internship is designed for a Year‑3 ISIPCA student to develop market‑aware, technically skilled, and professionally mature perfumery capabilities. You will work alongside IFF’s Scent Design & Creation team in Dubai, gaining hands‑on experience across the fragrance creation process.

Key responsibilities

• Support multiple local and regional perfumery projects simultaneously.
• Contribute to creative fragrance projects under the guidance of experienced perfumers.
• Complete a creative brief to develop technical and creative perfumery skills.
• Assist with fragrance evaluations and sensory learning activities.
• Learn and apply laboratory best practices, including safety, organization, and sample handling.
• Support the Scent Design Group on various initiatives to deepen understanding of fragrance development.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Year 3 of the ISIPCA Scent Design and Creation program.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional local language skills relevant to the location are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment while following safety and quality standards.
