Perfumery Laboratory Assistant

About the role

As a Perfumery Laboratory Assistant in the Consumer Products division, you will support perfumers and the lab team in Dubai by carrying out compounding, sampling and daily laboratory operations. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end compounding activities, including weighing, blending and preparing fragrance formulas using LCMS or equivalent systems.
• Perform sampling processes, manage multiple project priorities and meet deadlines.
• Prepare dilutions, repack raw materials and carry out basic packaging for submissions and evaluations.
• Support raw material management: visual and olfactory quality checks, stock handling and removal of expired items.
• Use laboratory and enterprise systems (LCMS, SAP) for formula execution, inventory tracking and data entry.
• Maintain strict safety, quality and housekeeping standards (5S) to keep the lab clean and safe.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities such as mixing, cleaning or other lab‑related tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help optimise lab processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in fragrance compounding or a comparable technical laboratory environment.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a structured, fast‑moving setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement.
