Pharmacy Porter – Science Park

About the role

The Pharmacy Porter supports safe, patient‑focused care within the Science Park area of the hospital. This onsite position ensures smooth movement of luggage and patients while maintaining confidentiality and a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Transfer patient luggage to and from rooms safely and efficiently.
• Escort patients during admission, discharge and whenever they need assistance throughout the hospital premises.
• Assist various departments with their transportation needs across the facility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all hospital services, facilities and layout.
• Support the daily functioning of the unit/department by providing reliable logistical assistance.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Good physical stamina for lifting and moving luggage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Awareness of patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
• Familiarity with the hospital layout and services.

Required skills
