Pipeline Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Pipeline Engineer is responsible for site pipeline design activities in proposals and projects, working closely with specialized engineering subcontractors and internal specialists within the Layout & Piping Department.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and discuss execution strategy and schedule with the Project Team and Head of Department, ensuring its application throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate pipeline design from feasibility and conceptual studies through detailed engineering, managing technical interfaces with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, codes, and group standards.
• Participate in material and construction cost estimation for pipeline activities.
• Provide technical assistance to project stakeholders including proposal managers, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in EPC projects within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry.
